During a business trip to Europe in November 2022, ATS Water Technology Co., Ltd. (ATS Water Technology) visited and participated in an advanced technical training program at MEGA’s manufacturing facility in the Czech Republic.

The facility manufactures Electrodeionization (EDI) and Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) systems, which are widely used in ultrapure water production and Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) solutions—technologies that are increasingly adopted across various industries to minimize wastewater discharge and improve water sustainability.

Throughout the training program, ATS Water Technology’s engineering team gained first-hand experience with the manufacturing process, quality control procedures, and performance testing of EDI and EDR systems in accordance with European standards. Technical discussions focused on electrodialysis module configurations, ion exchange membrane materials, optimal operating conditions, and the integration of EDI and EDR technologies into large-scale industrial water treatment systems.

MEGA is recognized as one of the world’s leading manufacturers of EDI and EDR technologies, with its products widely applied in the power generation, boiler feed water, oil and gas, chemical, microelectronics, food and beverage, and pharmaceutical industries.

Through this technical training and factory visit, ATS Water Technology further strengthened its technical partnership with MEGA while enhancing its capabilities in consulting, designing, and implementing ultrapure water and water reuse systems for customers in Vietnam.

Today, ATS Water Technology is the official partner and distributor of MEGA’s EDI and EDR systems in Vietnam. Backed by direct technical support from the manufacturer, we are committed to delivering reliable electrodialysis and electrodeionization solutions that meet the increasingly stringent water quality requirements of modern industries.
